Jitbit Helpdesk includes two handy widgets you can add to your website. These widgets make it easier for visitors to reach out from any page on your site.
You can find both widget options in the admin panel under Support Widget. Here's what's available:
Lightweight Widget
This widget appears as a popup tab at the bottom of the browser window. When a visitor clicks the tab (which says "Contact us" by default), the widget smoothly slides up.
You can customize several aspects of this widget, including the tab text, its position on the page, and the colors to match your site's branding.
The lightweight widget also includes built-in live chat functionality.
Note: This widget does not support custom fields. If you rely on custom fields in your ticket forms, consider using the next option instead.
Support Form Link
This widget allows you to bind the Jitbit ticket form to any link on your website. When clicked, the link opens a fully-featured new ticket form in a popup - essentially, the standard Jitbit ticket form, just embedded in a modal window.
Installation
To install either widget, you'll need to add a small snippet of HTML and JavaScript to your website. The exact code is provided in the admin panel.
Rest assured, the JavaScript code is safe and isolated - it won't interfere with your existing code, nor will it impact performance, as it loads asynchronously.
